memento mori fest
Metal music does more than make people feel powerful, it brings people together. Many heavy metal fans share a love of art as well, which is how I came up with the idea for a metal and art festival. Also, I am a metal and art fan myself. Memento Mori Fest is an experience where creatives from all over the world can enjoy great music and artwork.
celebrating Art
Memento Mori is a Latin phrase meaning “remember you must die.” With such a dark phrase, one might think this festival is about death. However, Memento Mori Fest is actually a celebration of life and what makes living worthwhile. The arts, for example, excite me and bring me joy, so my goal with this project was to create a festival for people who also share a love for the arts.
